The Ayithiyamalai South Field Officers' Office Building was renovated under the financial allocation of the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, was inaugurated on 14.05.2026 by the Manmunai West Divisional Secretary, Mrs. Sathyananthi Namasivayam.
The event, organized by the Ayithiyamalai South Rural Development Association, was attended by many people, including the Rural Development Officer, Grama Niladhari, Social Empowerment Officer, Samurdhi Development Officer, Divisional Secretariat Officers, members of community level organizations and the general public.
Also the office opening ceremony was followed by a tree planting event.
