The Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat, headed by Mrs. Namasivayam Sathiyananthi, organized a program to support 357 farmers by distributing cowpea, groundnut, and areca nut seedlings.
The initiative, carried out with assistance from the Agriculture Ministry and the Export Agriculture Department, aimed to promote local cultivation and export-oriented farming. Farmers also received practical training and demonstrations on proper planting and cultivation techniques to enhance productivity.
