The Manmunai West – Vavunathivu Divisional Secretariat, under the theme “Nourish the World with Love”, celebrated International Children’s Day on 18.10.2025 at the Nelloor Public Playground.The event was led by Divisional Secretary Mrs. Namasivayam Sathiyananthi and organized jointly by the Children and Women’s Division and the Samurdhi Division.
Officials from various departments, NGO representatives, students, parents, and community members participated. The celebration featured traditional lamp lighting, Thevaram recitation, welcome dance, speeches, cultural performances, sports events, and fun games. Prizes were distributed to the participating children.
