The Mannmunai West Divisional Secretariat and the Divisional Senior Citizens' Association jointly organized an Elders' Day celebration on the theme “Meaningful Retirement Life for Respectable Senior Citizens.” The event, held under the leadership of Divisional Secretary Mrs. Namashivayam Sathiyanandhi, took place at the Divisional Secretariat conference hall.
Officials, association members, and many elders attended. Awards were presented for Best Social Worker, Best Artist, and Best Elderly Day Care Centre, and the program featured cultural performances, games, and prize distributions to honor and entertain the senior citizens.
