On 05.11.2025, the Poya Day - Cultural Festival was held at Kannankuda Maha Vidyalaya Kannagi Arts Auditorium, organized jointly by the Eastern Province Department of Cultural Affairs and the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat under Divisional Secretary Mrs. Namasivayam Sathyananthi.
The event was attended by cultural officers, community leaders, artists, parents, and students, featuring performances such as Dance, Karagam, and Koothu by local arts groups, showcasing the region’s cultural talents.
