Small-Scale Agricultural Cultivation: Inaugural Meeting at Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat - 2025
A small-scale cultivation meeting was held on 18 March 2025 at the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat auditorium, under the chairmanship of Divisional Secretary N. Sathiyanandhi.
During the meeting, decisions were made regarding the cultivation of 14,106 acres of paddy, and the matter was discussed in detail. Additionally, farmers' problems were addressed, and suggestions were provided accordingly.
It is noteworthy that many individuals, including the Director of Central Irrigation, the Provincial Irrigation Director, the Assistant Director of the National Fertilizer Secretariat, the Assistant Director of Agricultural Extension, the Deputy Director of Agricultural Development, other officials, smallholder farmers, and members of the general public, participated in this meeting.
