The Child Development, Gender Network, Mental Health Association, and Drug Prevention Committee meeting was held on 26 June 2025 in the auditorium of the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat, under the chairmanship of Divisional Secretary N. Sathyananandhi.
The meeting addressed key issues including obtaining birth registration for school dropouts, raising awareness of gender-based violence, preventing child marriage, and supporting children at risk of drug abuse.
The event was attended by the Medical Officer of Health, the District Child Rights Development Officer, the District Child Probation Officer, and the District Women Development Officer. It is noteworthy that police officers, officers from the Zonal Education Office, and other officials from the Divisional Secretariat also participated.
